Arctic Cat's Alterra ATV and Wildcat UTV lines offer serious capability at competitive price points. Since Textron's acquisition, parts availability has improved significantly. Here is what Alterra and Wildcat owners need to know.
Alterra ATV Line
The Alterra 700 and 570 are the workhorses of the lineup. Proven Yamaha-sourced engines in older models give way to Arctic Cat's own powerplants in newer Textron-era machines. Maintenance is straightforward: oil change every 100 hours, air filter every 50 hours, belt inspection every 500 miles. ITP and Maxxis tires fit directly on Alterra bolt patterns.
Wildcat XX Performance
The Wildcat XX is Arctic Cat's sport UTV flagship with 130hp and class-leading suspension travel. HMF exhaust upgrades add 12-18hp. SuperATV makes lift kits and radius rods for Wildcat XX fitments. The FOX Live Valve suspension is a factory option worth having if you find a equipped example.
Parts Availability
Textron/Arctic Cat OEM parts are available through the dealer network. Aftermarket coverage has expanded with brands like SuperATV, High Lifter, and ITP all providing Alterra and Wildcat-specific fitments.
