Helmets for UTV Riding
Full-face helmets are required at most organized events. Bell, HJC, and Fox make UTV-specific certified options. Half helmet with goggles works for casual trail riding.
Harnesses vs Seat Belts
Stock 3-point seat belts are fine for low-speed trail use. Aggressive terrain calls for a 4 or 5-point harness. Crow, RJS, and Simpson make UTV-rated harnesses that mount to cage uprights.
Gloves and Boots
Vibration from rough terrain causes hand fatigue without quality gloves. Ankle-supporting trail boots are minimum - MX boots for aggressive terrain. Alpinestars, Fox, and ONeal make excellent options.
